Jeff's roots start at Chickadee Hill Farm, literally...he has lived on the farm since he was born. During his childhood years he helped with farm chores and as he grew older he took over running the Christmas tree field. In high school he started mowing lawns for neighbors and would borrow his mom's truck to deliver firewood. He learned a lot working on his great uncle's farm too. After graduating from St. John's Prep in 2000, he opened Chickadee Hill Farm Services.

Jeff has built his firewood business, and has become one of the most well known firewood dealers in the area, to both residential customers as well as many wholesale distributors. His hard work and dedication made his company grow, not only by producing quality, clean firewood, but by creating a full service lawn maintenance and materials business, including mulch, loam, and his own screened compost, all while maintaining the family farm.

Jeff and his wife Cory were married in 2008. One day Cory decided she was going to plant a garden and she let it die. Jeff said "I'll show her how this is done" and he realized that he had quite a green thumb. That was the start of the farm stand. He started tilling up fields and planting. You can visit the farm stand on Central St. in Rowley or find the Chickadee tent at one of the many local farmers' markets they attend, where you will probably run into their daughter Rachel.

Chickadee Hill Farm has grown and developed over the years, due to Jeff's hard work and dedication. His passion is obvious in every venture he takes on. His devotion is a testament to his love for his family, friends and community. Chickadee Hill Farm is truly a family farm and we hope it will continue for generations.
